Philippoussis may rehab knee on ‘Dancing with the Stars’

MARK Philippoussis’s road to recovery from knee surgery could follow an unusual route - as a contestant on Dancing With The Stars.

Philippoussis, 31, was yesterday due to undergo a fifth knee operation after injuring his right leg during the Australian Open wildcard play-off.

However tennis and entertainment circles are buzzing with speculation Philippoussis is poised to extend his TV career by appearing on the hit show.

The Wimbledon and US Open finalist last year was the central figure in American dating reality show The Age Of Love.

If invited to join Dancing With The Stars, the former world No. 8 would become the third Australian tennis player to feature on the program.

I hope this is all a rumor, as I’m sure his time could be better spent elsewhere…
