Murray blames silly mistakes for loss

It’ll be interesting to hear what those mistakes are - he doesn’t get very specific here.

“I don’t think it had anything to do with not getting to Australia early enough. It’s not like I was stuck indoors and then came out in this heat,” Murray said.

“I had three practice matches (last week) and I felt fresher than him at the end of the fourth set. It was just a few points here and there and a couple of bad decisions.”

On Tsonga’s streaky play, Murray said: “He has been like that since the juniors. When you’re serving, it’s difficult because he’ll run around and try and smack some forehands.” Herald Sun
